Gearing Up to be “Gazelle Intense”…

As I posted earlier, this month I emptied out my various savings funds and into my debt snowball – currently my auto loan. That punched my debt payments for April up to a whopping 74% of my monthly income (normally, I hovered around 45%). Albeit the extra money didn’t come directly from that month’s income, but it was still awesome to see my car balance drop significantly.

For May, although I don’t have as much extra money to throw, I am counting on a little extra cash from my eBay sales this month. But even without the extra income, I crunched the numbers and squeezed a little more out of my budget and was able to free up 10% more for the debt snowball. I’m now living off of less than one paycheck . Woohoo! Who woulda thunk it?! (When I get overly excitable, my redneck hillbilly comes out.)

Oh yeah, baby – just watch me squeeze each dollar until it SCREAMS for mercy. But there will be none to be found UNTIL THIS SMELLY HEAP OF DEBT IS PAID OFF.
